How often do you get to volunteer for an important cause and dine out in one of your favorite restaurants at the same time?
Volunteers play a vital role at AIDS Services of Austin. None are more important than those who volunteer to serve as Dinner Captains in the participating restaurants during Dining For Life.
It's simple and it's fun!
A Dinner Captain is a qualified volunteer who works to help ensure a large turnout at their chosen restaurant. They also help AIDS Services of Austin publicize the event in our community.
Your primary responsibility would be to invite all of your friends, family and co-workers to dine with you at your restaurant on the chosen night. The more people that attend your restaurant the closer we come reaching our goal of raising $35,000 for Dining for Life 2009.
We also ask that you be present at your restaurant to welcome your invited guests and thank them for supporting AIDS Services of Austin. We suggest that you be present at your restaurant between 6:00 and 9:00 pm.
As a thank you, to Dining for Life diners we will be holding a drawing for some great prizes including 2 round trip tickets from JetBlue Airways. Diners will be able to register online at www.asaustin.org through September 21 with the winners chosen on October 1, 2009. Restaurant staff will be distributing check insert cards promoting online entry for the drawing.
