What: National Week of Prayer for the
Healing of AIDS (NWPHA) Speaking Event / Conscious, a lesbian artist, actor, writer, and former bodyguard to
celebrities, has faced many challenges including a difficult childhood, homelessness,
and living with HIV. Conscious will deliver a poignant message about HIV, AIDS,
and recovery. The purpose
of NWPHA is to bring national attention to the AIDS epidemic in the United
States and the role faith communities can and are playing in AIDS prevention, education,
service and advocacy.
