Volunteering at ASA

Volunteer where people from all walks of life give their time and talents to help Central Texans living with HIV and AIDS! Our Volunteer Services Department ensures that the skills and talents of our volunteers are utilized well and that their time spent with ASA is both productive and personally gratifying.

Most volunteer activities take place Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some activities, especially those related to fundraising events, occur on evenings and weekends.

For more information about volunteer opportunities, please contact Volunteer Services Coordinator Sandy Bartlett at 512-406-6163 or click here for a listing of current volunteer activities. We will contact you as soon as possible about your areas of interest and the next orientation date.

Upcoming General Volunteer Orientations:

Orientation sessions are held monthly on Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at our main office at 7215 Cameron Road. The next sessions are scheduled for January 4, February 1, and March 7. No RSVP is necessary - just come join us!

Individuals interested in volunteering in the Food Bank must attend an additional orientation from 5:30 to 6:00 pm. The Food Bank training session is prior to the General Orientation.

Please complete this survey if you are interested in volunteering at ASA through the Food Bank or elsewhere. If you are interested in volunteering for AIDS Walk Austin, click here.
