Get information on HIV testing, AIDS Walk Austin, and AIDS Services of Austin at this disability fair on the Huston-Tillotson campus.
National Latino HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Friday, October 15
The AIDS epidemic is a serious threat to the Hispanic and Latino community. Hispanics and Latinos comprise 13 percent of the US population, but account for 18 percent of people in the United States living with HIV and AIDS. Stay tuned for events happening to commemorate this day.
AIDS Walk Austin Sunday, October 17
We'll be celebrating the 23nd anniversary of the Walk with a ceremony at Austin City Hall, followed by the Walk itself. Register for the Walk>>
Patronize Businesses Supporting Austin Red Week
Casa Brasil Coffees - $1 donation for every Red Ribbon edition can of coffee sold at Whole Foods
Chili's - their restaurants throughout Central Texas will be donating 10% of your check when you dine with them on Wednesday, October 13 or Thursday, October 14. YOU MUST PRESENT THE FLYER --download it here.
Kenneth Cole - Their Austin stores are accepting donations at the register.
Live Oak Pharmacy will donate 5% of all retail sales back to the Walk during the month of October.
The Long Center for the Performing Arts - Use the code ASA when you purchase tickets for Jaston Williams' Cowboy Noises to have a donation made on your behalf.
Walgreens - All 76 stores in Central Texas are accepting donations at the register the entire month of October, and a percentage of Big Red and 7Up sales will be donated to AIDS Services of Austin.
Whole Foods Market - Their flagship store at 6th and Lamar will be accepting donations at the registers from September 27 to October 25 as AIDS Services of Austin is their featured nonprofit.

Panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display throughout Austin from October 4 - 17. The Quilt is the largest ongoing arts project in the world and a power way to memorialize our friends and family lost to the disease. Quilt locations>>
