What began in a church basement 18 years ago now reigns as one of the single largest sources of income – and fun – for the Capital Area AIDS Legal Project, a program of AIDS Services of Austin. Party revelers and gamblers will find memorable favorites: a silent auction, live entertainment, culinary delights from Austin’s top restaurants, and – of course – faux gambling, including blackjack, craps, roulette and Texas Hold ’Em.

The online ticket store is now closed but you can pick them up at Book People or Book Woman for $50 through Saturday!

 THE DIGS
This year Viva has moved to a swanky new location at the Shoal Crossing Event Center. The beautiful remodeled, former Harold’s Outlet, with vaulted ceilings, Mid-Century Modern funriture, and a uniquely-Austin feel is equiped with plenty of free parking and is 5 minutes from downtown. With an expected audience approaching 800 people, the stage is set for Austin’s top faux gambling fundraiser for a great cause, and much-needed pro-bono legal services for people with HIV facing civil legal issues.

THE VIBE
With a Vintage Vegas theme, expect a throw-back to the Rat Pack Era with live entertainment from The Copa Kings on the main stage and the sultry sounds of Coty Ross in the Tropicana Lounge. Unwind in the Player’s Patio while Mouthfeel spins a mash up of classics with a twist of dance beats, and, as an added bonus, Agustin Tash is back to mesmerize you with his unique close-up magic.
