The quilt project was started by Lisa Marie Hendricks to honor the memory of her brother Ronnie and to help raise money for people here in Central Texas living with HIV and AIDS.

Ronald Hendricks lived from 1953 to 1992. During his short life, he earned his PhD and a prestigious Fulbright scholarship. He is "still loved and still missed."

The quilt will be on display at the Walk Kick-Off Party and again during AIDS Walk Austin on October 16. The last day to make a donation to this campaign and be entered into the drawing is October 16, 2011.

All donors to the quilt campaign will be entered into a drawing to receive the quilt in appreciation of your generosity. The winner will be randomly selected and notified the week following AIDS Walk Austin.
