Internships

AIDS Services of Austin is committed to making your internship experience rewarding and valuable. We are willing to work with a student's educational plan and coordinate with departments within our agency, such as social work, nutrition, etc. Unfortunately, due to resource restrictions, we are unable to offer stipends to our interns.

Internship opportunities at ASA are offered on a formal (school sponsored) or informal basis. The minimum time commitment for all internships is one semester (Spring, Summer or Fall). There is no maximum time commitment. If you have any questions regarding internships or general volunteer opportunities with ASA, please call Sandy Bartlett at (512) 406-6163.

All internships require the following skills: basic computer knowledge and good organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills. Interns must be responsible, dependable, and able to work with a diverse group of people.
