Eligibility Services Supervisor
AIDS Services of Austin is seeking an Eligibility Services Supervisor to provide supervision and support for staff responsible for Eligibility, Intake, Outreach and Advocacy services (Tier 2 Non-medical case management), Health Insurance Premium Assistance, as well as the receptionist. This supervisor will work with staff to promote quality services for ASA eligibility screening, case-management and advocacy clients. Some of the essential tasks are: provide oversight and approval for client financial assistance programs, assist in development of the agency Quality Management Plan and implement service and programmatic quality improvement activities, coordinate with Case Management Supervisor to review intakes and assign clients to the appropriate level of case management services, review client files to ensure proper documentation and follow-up is done, provide clinical supervision to staff, monitor staff progress on required outcome measures and prepare reports, provide Access Unit level of case management to a limited client caseload, responsible for accurate reporting of required grant data and determining reasons outcomes or outputs are not achieved, and supervise interns of accredited university programs. Knowledge of HIV, mental health, substance abuse, diverse populations, and community resources is preferred. Ability to work comfortably with diverse populations, with sensitivity to issues concerning HIV and all disabilities is helpful.
Education requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field. Experience requirements: 3 years experience in human services, 1 year experience with supervision in human services, licensure required or must receive licensure within six months of employment, training and skills in harm reduction principles preferred.

Receptionist
AIDS Services of Austin is seeking a Receptionist to work in our main office lobby answering a multi-line phone system, routing calls, and greeting clients. High School graduate or GED. Minimum of two years experience with multi-line phones. Knowledge of PC and software (Word, Excel). Ability to work in a busy office environment. Ability to work with diverse and multicultural populations. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred. Knowledge of HIV/AIDS helpful. EOE.
