Hey guys!

I set our fundraising goal at $500, an achievement I know we can make! Just register under the team name "Lambda of Texas State", choose what registration level you want (donation or no donation) and fill out the important stuff. Also, be sure to set a personal goal-I think $20-50 is a good range to strive for.

You don't have to register as a participant to help with the fundraising; but remember, if you sign up to participate in the walk you MUST come to the walk on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 12:30 pm.

Don't worry about transportation; as the date gets closer we'll arrange carpools to Austin. We will also discuss this event in further detail at the meetings.

 UPDATE: I see that we are beginning to look like a team, And we're raking in some cash! :) But, if you are having trouble fundraising, there are some template emails (available on your personal email page) that you can send to friends, family, etc. I highly encourage using these, as they are easy to personalize and have most of the necessary information. However, I would add to the emails a link to our team page/ your personal page, so that the donations are sent through our team.
