Now, as we enter our landmark 25th anniversary of the Walk, we would love to have your hand in support in making the 2012 AIDS Walk another successful event, so we can further promote awareness and fundraise to provide AIDS services for our fellow Austinites. 

Today, there are approximately 12,000 people living with HIV in Central Texas. Perhaps as many as 2,100 of these people -- mothers, fathers, children, brothers, sisters, friends -- are unaware of their status.

"I walk to help bring AIDS awareness to the African-American community."

People walk for many different reasons. We walk together as a team to continue making positive change for people affected by HIV and AIDS. Please help us pass our goal and bring awareness to this epidemic that still exists in our community.
