Please help me make a difference in others lives. I know there are many calls out for donations this time of year but this is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. I lost the love of my life to AIDS. I watch a beautiful and sweet man disappear before my very eyes and AIDS destroyed his health and quality of life. I always loved him and still do. I loved him when his personality changed after being in pain 24/7 for several years. I still loved him when he lost so much weight that he no longer looked like himself. He was always the love of my life. I watched him die as there was nothing I could do. We received help from services that were available through donations raised by AIDS Walks and Rides. These vital services helped me keep Don's life bearable for him and even helped me deal with his death and the deaths of many dear friends.
No donation is too small. The needs is still great and funding is still hard to come by in these days of constant budget cuts. Please be one of my Angels and sponsor meas I walk in memory of the loved ones I have lost and to honor those dealing with HIV/AIDS.
